Our cocktail making masterclasses are a fun, hands-on experience perfect for birthdays, hen parties, team events or just a great night in with friends. Guided by a professional mixologist, you’ll learn how to shake, stir and create a selection of classic and modern cocktails — all while enjoying plenty of laughs along the way.

We’re fully mobile, so we bring everything to you and can run sessions in the comfort of your own home, any day of the week. No experience needed — just bring your friends and we’ll take care of the rest, leaving no mess behind us.

Let's get shaking!

We offer a 90-minute session for £50 per person, where you’ll make three cocktails each and take part in a fun drinking game to keep the energy high.
Alternatively, you can choose a 60-minute session for £40 per person, where you’ll make two cocktails each in a lively session that still gives you plenty of time to learn the basics, enjoy your drinks, and have a great time with your group.
For any non-drinkers we can throw in a mocktail, too though this will be made with the non-drinkers whilst the first cocktail is being sipped.

How to book

Drop us an email to hello@botella.co.uk with the date, time, address and number of people for your event. We can then mull over which cocktails you would like to make - we recommend the shaken ones as they are the funnest. Don't know any cocktails? Not a problem, just tell us your favourite flavours or spirits and we'll go from there.

We will send a quote at the time of booking based on the number of people at your event, the number of cocktails you have requested, and the address of the venue. If you accept the quote we ask that the subsequent invoice is paid no later than 21 days pre-event.

We'll need to prep the space for your masterclass one hour before the session begins and it will take up to one hour for us to clean up afterward, please do factor this in to your scheduling.

Terms, Conditions and Policies

Glasses and equipment:

We supply glass glassware for our masterclass guests to make drinks in. We will provide jiggers, Hawthorne strainers, fine strainers, Boston shakers, and anything else needed for the cocktails or mocktails that you have chosen to make - this equipment will be organised into 'stations' - we can provide up to 10 stations. There can be as many as two people per station. We provide ice in ice buckets with ice scoops in the centre of the table for shakers and drink building, with ice scoops.

Stock:

We will provide the correct amount of ingredients for the number of drinks that will be made. Should your guests 'go rogue' and make up recipes or start doing shots we will issue a post-event invoice to cover the extra stock used, and they may end up missing out or preventing others from creating the next drink on the menu. Please discourage people from doing this if you see it, we want everyone to keep having fun so it's a shame when someone ruins it for others.

Staffing:

We will provide one mixologist to lead the masterclass and one bartender/waiter to keep everything running smoothly.

The use of our staff for tasks unconnected to our services must be agreed by us.

We reserve the right to refuse the sale or distribution of beverages to individuals who do not treat us or our members with respect. Abusive behaviour will result in police action and the immediate termination of the masterclass.

Extras:

If you would like to include extras such as welcome drinks, personalised cocktails, etc, in your booking please inform us as soon as possible and no later than 21 days pre-event. We can run the masterclass from our converted horsebox bar only if the bar will stay on to serve drinks following the masterclass, please see 'The Guest's Bar', 'The Host's Bar', or 'The Open Bar', for more details.

General Supply of Alcohol:

We will not serve alcohol to anyone we suspect to be under 18 years old, and use the 'Challenge 25' system meaning some guests may require ID. This applies to private events also.
​

Coverage:
Botella covers South East England, our base being in Etchingham, East Sussex. If the event is more than 10 miles from TN19 there will be a mileage fee included in your quote to cover our travel costs.

​

Damage:

Broken, damaged and/or lost glasses and/or equipment are charged at the following rates;

Shot - £5.00,

High-ball, Half-Pint, Wine, Flute & Tumbler - £8.00,

Gin, Margarita, Hurricane, Coupe & Martini - £10.00,

24 litre ice buckets - £25,

small ice buckets - £12,

fold up bar table - £100,

cream gazebo - £200

You agree that any damage inflicted upon Botella property including but not limited to the horse box bar including the ramps, bar equipment, decks, staff property and vehicles, will be covered by you, the hirer, so in as far as you are reasonably at fault.

 

You agree to ensure any items we lease or hire on your behalf, (glasses or otherwise,) are returned to us in the same condition as we supplied them. You agree to pay any penalties or surcharges if items are not returned to us or returned damaged.

Booking:

We will send a quote at the time of booking based on the number of people at your event, the number of cocktails you have requested, and the address of the venue. If you accept the quote we ask that the subsequent invoice is paid no later than 21 days pre-event.

Cancellation:​

Please cancel with no less than 21 days notice, if you cancel within 21 days there will be a 50% fee, if you cancel within 14 days there will be a 100% fee.

Infrastructure:
You agree to allow us reasonable access to dishwashing facilities where they are available.

You must provide a worktop or table space appropriate for the number of guests you are booking for. We can provide a table for up to 6 guests if needed.

We will provide cocktail making equipment, the ingredients and garnishes for the drinks, glassware appropriate for the drinks in shape and number, and the expertise!

You confirm that there is suitable drainage for the disposal of spoiled water/ice. 

We will need somewhere to park up to two vehicles within a 2 minute walking distance of the masterclass location.

 

Your Conduct:
You agree to treat all members of staff with respect.
You agree to not touch any equipment/glassware that has not been laid out for the use of your party.
You agree to take care not to damage any Botella property.

You agree that the area surrounding the class will be cleared of people following the masterclass to allow our staff to pack away safely and efficiently. Please do not allow anyone to help with this process, we’ve got it!​

Contract:

You agree that any damage inflicted upon Botella property including but not limited to the glassware, bar equipment, tables and decorations, staff property and vehicles, will be covered by you, the hirer, so in as far as you are reasonably at fault.

You agree to allow us reasonable use of photographs and videos taken by us at your event on social media to promote our business. We will gain the consent of any persons in the photos / videos.

Any amendments, additions or removals of services and/or extras after 14 days pre-event is not possible.

You consent to us storing your details in line with current legislation.

The payment of the booking is taken as your agreement of these terms and conditions.
